Heart Birthday Card

I promised a happier project for today and this one is lovely and bright and full of hearts!
Ok so this is using the Polka Dot Series Paper again in Rich Razleberry and Old Olive I have also used Very Vanilla Card stock and a retired pen Almost Amthyst, which was the nearest colour match I had to the non Stampin Up ribbon. I have had my heart dies for a little while, but with Christmas I haven't really had the opportunity to have a real play with them, it was worth waiting for as I really like this layering effect. The little cirle stamp is from the Posy Punch stamp set and the cake from the hostess set Happiest Birthday Wishes. I love this colour combo and always find myself using it, it reminds me of the make and take I made at the first Stampin Up Party I went to.
Thanks for coming by my blog today, feel free to leave me a comment it is always nice to hear from fellow crafters.

Sharing In Your Sorrow Sympathy Card

Today I am sharing with you a sympathy card I have made, these are by far my least favorite cards to make, for obvious reasons, but I make myself make them so I have them in my stash. This is a simple one I hope I can put in my box and not have to use.
I have used the stamp set Hopeful Thoughts, the card is Crumb cake and Very Vanilla (I seriously need some more coloured card stock), I can't remember which stack the paper was from sorry!
Thanks for stopping by today, come back tomorrow for a happier project (I promise).

Card Triplets

I really am using my crafting for therapy in this dark and dismal January, hence why I am able to blog a project a day. Today I am actually sharing 3 projects with a similar theme. They are all baby cards and they have all been made using last years Nursery Nest Papers and embelishments, which I adore.
The last 2 cards I photographed in the evening and so the light doesn't really do them justice. Apart from the sentiments all of these cards are stamping free. Thanks for stopping by today hopefully see you back soon.

Christmas Wreath

Yes I know and for this I am truley sorry, it's just I love making them and instead of having Christmas paper kicking around all year I thought I would use it up and get ahead!
So here it is my first Christmas project of 2013. As with all my photography it looks like the ribbons aren't straight, but it is actually my camera skills! Thanks for popping by today, have a great weekend

7 of 7

Thank goodness its Friday!!!!
So here it is my final card (or cards) of my 7 day challenge. All my other cards I have made for my stash and for no one in particular, however I have a couple of birthdays coming up in the office, where we are reknown for how much caffine we in take and so I just had to make a couple of cards with the Morning Cup set, which I think is adorable.
Thnk you if you have been stopping by all week, I hope you have liked my 7 cards in 7 days and I am now well on the way to completing this years card stash (who am I kidding I am up to about March!) There will be more projects to come, so see you soon

6 of 7

Hello happy Thursday to you all, firstly for those of you who read my blog yesterday and was probably a little confused that I had used a flower stamp from the proud peacock set, that was just a random mistake I popped in. The flower was actually from Flowering Flourishes and I have no idea why I thought it resembled a peacock! Anyway today I am sticking with the Flowering Flourishes set for my next card.
This is by far my favorite design of the week, but to make 8 of these did take some time as the colouring of the stamps with the markers is quite time consuming. I absolutley love this set and this card is actually insprired by a scrapbook layout in the Stampin up Catalogue on page 121. To make this card you need Old Olive and Very Vanilla cardstock, the inks are Island Indigo, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink and Raspberry Ripple. I have also used the Lables Dies and the Elegant Butterfly Punch finished off with my favorite sentiment set Curly Cute.
Thank you for stopping by tomorrow will be 7 of 7, however I am in the crafting zone, so there will be more projects to follow (dare I say I was making a Christmas wreath last night) You can never be too prepared!

5 of 7

Ok so Crazy Crafters is in it's third year and at the start of each one I make a little calendar for each of my friends with the dates of when we are going to meet, so here are 2013's:
Ok so I have die cut some red card through the cuttlebug and then doubled sided some strips of DSP on to it I have then run it back through with a polka dot embossing folder and again using a thin stitch folder on the edges. Then onto a smaller die cut label I have stamped the flower from the (flowering flourishes not Proud Peacock as I previously typed) stamp set to which I have stuck a square of DSP to mount the calendar on. I have then made a small whole at the top, I used a pin as I haven't got a handy crocodile punch and then threaded a ring on to hang it by. The star was the smallest stamp I could find in my collection, which is still a little bit big, which I have used to highlight each time we are due to meet. I hope my crazy crafters will like them although it doesn't mean any of us will remember the dates, because never remember when are next meeting is! and some of us our a little more "confused" then others I must add ha, ha!

Thanks for coming by to have a look, please pop back again tomorrow for my next card.

Card 4 of 7

Well by now you should have the whole concept of my 7 cards in 7 days theme, it's not really rocket science after all, more blog training for myself! I am really loving having some quality time to do general crafting again after the mayhem that is Christmas crafting and I hope you are enjoying popping by to see what I have made. Ok so here is card number 4:
You can really see how my themes evolve from one to another (or rather I use the left overs from one for the next, these are frugal time after all). So we still have the "simple" theme going on and we are staying with the Polka Dot Hearts aswell. Crumb Cake is the base cardstock and Very Vanilla layered onto it. I have simpy arranged the hearts and added the Curly Cute Sentitment. My photography is not improving over the week and I still can not take a straight photo, which I apologise for. So these are just Simple and fun really, what more can I say!

Thanks for stopping by, please come back tomorrow, when I have something slightly different to show you as tomorrow night my crafting crop, The Crazy Crafters, are re united for our first meet of 2013 and I always make them something small to celebrate the start of our crafting year!

Card 3 of 7

Welcome back again, so here is design number 3:

Ok so I am sticking to the "simple" theme with this one, but it is much more colourful and girlie then the previous. On to a simple white card I have added a red banner made of SU Polka Dot DSP, I have run it through the cuttlebug and die cut the hearts out, I have then stuck it to the card and with some different coloured hearts I have filled the gaps. I have embellished with some simple buttons and added the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Curly Cute stamp set. If you want to make up some simple girlie cards for your stash, than these are perfect.

Thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave me a comment and I hope you come back again tomorrow to see my next card.

Card 2 of 7

Ok here is design 2 of my 7 day card crafting:
So I have made these simply but cute little birthday cards using some basic red card onto that I have layered some paper from the Stampin Up Designer Series Paper stack Orchard Harvest. The owl is from the retired Fox and Friends stamp set stamped in Chocolate Chip, the tree is from the Funky Four set (sorry also retired) and the birthday banner is from the hostess set Happiest Birthday Wishes. The inside and envelope are just matched up by re printing the owl and the tree.

Thanks for stopping by, come back tomorrow for my next card.

7 Days, 7 Cards

Hi and a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I can not believe it has been nearly a month since I last posted. I have been so busy and what with being poorly over New Year, having various family members come to stay and a topping of snow I just haven't had time to post. I have however had a couple of occasions to craft and so I am going to make up for my lack of blogging by posting 7 different card projects over the next 7 days.
In an attemp to actualy get a head with my birthday cards for the year (before I am in the greenhouse sowing seeds) I have been making up packs of cards. So here is the first of my 7 cards
Ok so apart from the ribbon I have used all Stampin Up products, the card base in Crumb Cake, layered with Very Vanilla cardstoke Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive designer series paper from the Polka Dot stack. On to that I have layered with dimensionals a die cut piece of V Vanilla, which I have daubed the edges of and printed this gorgeous blossom branch form the Easter Blossoms stamp set. I have finished of with various sentiments and a ribbon bow, inside I have faintly stamped the branch again and again on the envelope.  I hope you like card 1 of 7. If you would like to order any of the products I have used then pop over to Stampin Sarah's Blog where she has a great demo for making ribbon flower embellishments.

Thanks for reading and pop back tomorrow for card number 2.
